Will Randolph, AIA, NCARB

The Basics

Will is a passionate designer and is motivated by socially conscious and dynamic urban development. He is skilled at re-imagining common building materials and construction practices, and shedding new light on their applications through modern detailing and execution. Will spent nearly a decade at the Memphis firm archimania, where he gained invaluable knowledge and experience on a wide range of project types of varying scales and budgets.  His work there included such projects as Frontline Townhomes, Redeemer Presbyterian Church, and various infill projects at the Crosstown Concourse. An avid musician, Will has channeled his personal love for the arts into projects including Ballet Memphis and the Scheidt Family Music Center at the University of Memphis. On the residential front, Will loves enriching the personal lives of clients through architectural design.  He strives for simple and affordable design solutions and is passionate about basic forms, patterns, and textures.

Education & Licensure

Will holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University where he collaborated on several design-build projects on campus. Will was awarded a traveling fellowship, and subsequently traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to study healthy urban streetscapes. Will is licensed to practice architecture in the state of Tennessee and holds an NCARB certificate, allowing licensure reciprocity in other states.

Organizations & Service

Will is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a past member of the AIA Memphis Board of Directors. Will is known to throw a good party! He was co-chair of several recent AIA Memphis Design Awards Galas and Design Auction events. He was a member of their Memphis’ Emerging Professional Leadership Class of 2017. Will is currently an adjunct professor of architecture at the University of Memphis where he teaches Construction Documents and Building Technology.
